Avanda is a full spirited youth with no fear of ramifications from her actions. Her brash attitude and charisma convinces others to allow her to come on the adventure upstream. She delights in the new, but must learn that there is a cost her actions.

Ambrosius, crippled from a recent attack, needs the help of others to believe and trust his risky advice that may save or kill thousands of people. His knowledge of a pending doom compels Thorik and his friends to help him, although trust is still in question.

Bik, the young num from Shoreview has a deep desire to investigate the comings and goings of the strangers in his seaport city. His actions get him and his friends into more trouble than anyone would expect 3 youths could. Nevertheless, they uncover the mysteries of the visitors which often are up to no good.

Brimmelle is the seventh generation of spiritual leaders to rule over the village of Farbank. Without any children of his own, he has begun training his apprentice, and nephew, Thorik Dain. This mentorship training has had questionable results, for Ambrosius is leading Thorik in other directions.

Bryus Grum once was the leader of EverSpring, but was overthrown by those who conspire with Darkmere. He is one of the few Alchemist who supported Ambrosius.

Dare, the large and filthy shop keeper has collectibles from all over the world. He'll have what you want, if you're willing to pay the price.

Darkmere has been plotting to destroy Ambrosius for years. His time has finally come as he leads Thorik's group into a deadly encounter.

Draq is a bad tempered 12-foot long Red-Tipped Silver Dragon. His loyalty to protecting Ambrosius has no boundaries or limitations. Soft spoken, he is more dangerous than most realize.

Emilen's beauty allows her to charm her way though life, but there are some challenges that charm doesn't play a factor.

Santorray, a battle-worn blothrud, has seen his share of action. His short fuse usually ends with his sabers aggressively resolving his issues.

Thorik Dain is the young want-to-be adventurer who is torn between his prior mentor's conservative views and his new friend who lives the adventures of life.
